I sat in my car reading reviews before going in. I was ready to hate this place but committed cause I'd driven 10 minutes to get here... LOL
Ironically, it was a very nice visit! I was immediately taken to my seat. The waitress came soon after and took my order. The food arrived rather quick (maybe because there was only two other parties).
My only critics are they have two soy sauces and I didn't know the difference between them without asking (one is low sodium). Also, my sushi was rolled very loosely so it fell apart when picking it up. The taste was very good though!
I'll visit again! -

Great experience all around!
Food was prepared to order and very fresh. Good variety of lunch specials so we each found something we wanted.
Courteous Waitress and very nice atmosphere.

I really don't enjoy giving low ratings, and there was only a couple reasons this went downhill quickly for me.
We came here for my son's birthday, since he loves hibachi. We had recently been to another hibachi place that wasn't entertaining so expectations were low (a lot of places I go to don't really entertain anymore).
Let me go over the good here, bc there was a lot of good:
- The hibachi person was very entertaining. He had a little water bottle that looked like a little boy, and he would make it "pee" water. He did the egg roll trick and also had a super accurate aim at flipping shrimp pieces into your mouth (not one person missed getting the shrimp flipped off the spatula into their mouth). He also made balloon animals. BALLOON ANIMALS. That was a first!
- For my son's bday, they played music and came out with a gong and bday ice cream bowl. They sang and he got to hit the gong. They also took a Polaroid picture for the wall and let you sign. Nice touch!
- Wait staff was friendly and fast!
- The fried rice was really good, best I've had at a hibachi place in some time.
So, lots of good to make it special. However, here is why my rating is lower:
- I didn't like the miso soup, at all. I also didn't like the soup they served with the meal (I ate my son's). Something was off with it.
- They didn't pass out the side ramekins for the seafood and meat sauce. I don't know why, guess they just forgot.
- I had thought my scallops were ok and meal was alright until I got about 3 minutes into my drive home. I'll spare the details, but I had to use mind tricks on the remaining 20 minute commute in order to not have an embarrassing accident. I made it to my bathroom in time but I was within 2 seconds longer of reverting back to a 1 year old before all hell broke lose. I can't call it food poisoning but something wasn't right. It's like somebody dumped a whole bottle of laxative into my food .
That pretty much ruined my experience and I'm actually scared today to eat my leftovers. I always judge a place based off the miso soup and it typically doesn't let me down. Everything was great up until that moment in my car.
Hopefully, that was just a one time thing, bc this place is a good spot for kids and birthdays. I'm just not sure I'll be back in the near future. -

Terrible expieeence. Ordered pad thai which comes with noodles egg lime bean sprouts curry and egg. What I received was a bowl of cheap noodles with no sprouts and only 13 grams of chicken. Can you say RIP off.

People there are very nice but food prep and ingredients are the worst. Drive further for better quality. Sushi chef even told me Owner doesn't want to upgrade ingredients i.e. quality of fish used for preparation of sushi.
